What kind of plan do I get for Blackberry 8900?

Hi, I'm currently using T-Mobile for iPhone and I'm new to the Blackberry scene. From what I can tell, T-Mobile has Blackberry-specific data plans (Unsupported Browser) but it doesn't show that any minutes are included. What have you guys used?

I'm currently looking on a different website (wirefly.com) and they show that I can have T-Mobile Individual Value 600 - 2YR and BlackBerry Unlimited Web & Unlimited Message Bundle.

I would have:
- 600 minutes a month
- Unlimited night and weekend
- Unlimited data
- Unlimited messaging
- Free roaming nationwide

This would total $74.98 a month (before all those kind of taxes and such). I also get about 10% discount so that would be about $67.48 (again, before taxes and such).

Is there any other way I could improve upon this? As far as I know, I can't grandfather my $5.99 T-zones service and my $15.99 Unlimited Messaging.

Sounds good but you can always try to find a bigger corporate discount.

I am on 300 Whenever minutes, unlimited data/nights/weekends/myfaves, 400 texts, wifi calling for ~$63/mo with my 15% discount.

I'd rather have the MyFaves option with 300 mins for $40 then add the BlackBerry Unlimited Web + Unlimited Messages for an extra $35... This plan works best for me because I do more e-mailing, texting, and websurfing. Plus, I speak to one person a lot so the MyFaves help out a bunch.

The price of your unlimited text won't change. The 34.99 unlimited data includes unlimited blackberry and unlimited text. It use to be 19.99 for the blackberry plan so the prices really haven't for your texting. You'll be paying 19.99 instead of 5.99 for internet but it's well worth it.

The unlimited night/weekend kind of work out for me in that respect.. I usually talk to people at night.

Still more money each month x.x if im not mistaken, the edge is the same speed as the old internet plan, isn't it? i dont see how its worth it, lol. besides the hassle and trouble of speaking to different retention reps to try and get $15.99 texting.

T-mobile has a plan for $24.99 data/and 400 text messages and your not going to get anything cheaper for a blackberry.

There is no $15.99 messaging level, it's $14.99 for unlimited. Also no one can hook you up with discounts, as they involve codes and unique credentials such as membership/employee ID, etc. Check with your employer or even your university, my school offers 15% off.

My bad on the pricing of the text messaging. As for the university discount, where do you go? I live in NYC, and I noticed the NY on your avatar.

I meant, what university do you go to in NYC? I'm in CUNY Brooklyn.. I wouldn't know where to start looking for that.

Oh Princeton University, and I don't know about CUNY Brooklyn. Does your school have a campus special offers & amenities site? Login to your school's portal and look for offers.

I get 15% from DePaul University. They said they just need your school email and ID number and they don't really do any true verification. Call up the corporate account number and tell them you want to migrate an account, and ask them to look your school. I called originally to do the freelancer's union 10% discount but I randomly asked them if DePaul University offered a discount and it turned up theirs was bigger, so I went with them. BTW, I couldn't find any info about T-mobile discounts on DePaul's site, so calling Tmobile would be the best way to find out.
