reception problems

I don't know if this happens to some of you but most of the time when I'm home, I get 0 bars. My other phone(moto razor dg edition) has always 2 or 3 bars. Can tmobile do something about it? The other day a friend told me to call tmobile tech support and they can do something about it. But I mean, what can they do?? They can't install another tower just for me? he...

Same thing happens to me. Downstairs 0, 1 bar rarely. Upstairs 1-2 bars. Without UMA phone would be useless most of the time.

It happened to me already to go to a tmobile store or just call tec support and tell them your dropping calls and cant get rep. and most like they will give you a new sim card they did with mine. mine was like 4 years old and never replaced till last month when i keep dropping calls outside with no clouds or anything

I wish my issue was that simple. I did have my SIM replaced even though it was only few months old and did not make a difference. Just bad luck of poor coverage where I live. When I am in good coverage area reception is maximum bars.

When I bought the 8900, I got a new SIM card(less than 6 months ago) and I still have the same problem. The rep told me(this was 2 years ago) that I will get 2-3 bars at my house, but that's not true. No idea what to do, I mean tmobile is cheap and I like it but seriously I want coverage!!!

My only suggestion is, you don't have to do it, get a wireless router if you have CABLE or DSL internet service. Go on WiFi for a stronger signal. That's at least what TMO customer service told me. I've never tried it before but if I have the chance I will.

I get poor coverage at my house too. It's so weird because I live WAYYY out in the country and if I go even deeper into Hickville, well my coverage gets better! It's ONLY at my house that I have no coverage.

UMA and Wi-Fi router have been my saving grace. I suggest you use UMA. It really doesn't cost anything since you're just using your internet connection. I can't really complain because I love T-Mobile's prices so it makes sense that their coverage would be subpar. However, UMA def makes up for it.

I was thinking about switching to at&t in august but their a rip off, lol. Data plans are too expensive and for $150 a month for 2 lines, unlimited minutes, data plan and messasing, that's an awesome value!

I would add that the berry is a completely different device than a RAZR....not to be rude....Your homes construction may play a part or foliage propagation issues? I use UMA and WI-FI constantly in my house and it doesn't cost me anything besides the 9.99 plan. My old LG 8300/Comaprable to RAZR used to work great at my house on VZW then my VZW BB 8330's had issues with signal.
Try what they were recomending if you can stand it.....your still gonna save way more money with T-Mobile...and NOTHING will beat the WI-FI speeds you get!!

That happens to me at home. I switched from the pearl to the 8320 with wifi, no I have no issues. My wife has the samsung behold, also tmobile, and gets no reception in the house. We call and complain time to time when it gets frustrating and nothing has ever improved. In the house is the only issue we ever have

it seems like a common problem. Tmobile should do something about it. Like I said before when I signed up with tmobile, their computer showed 2-3 bars in my area and now 0. No idea what att coverage is in my area but one of my co-workers lives in this same area and he has full bars with att.

Is your RAZR also on TMo? Are the lines postpaid, prepaid, flexpay? Shouldnt matter if they are the same, but if one is postpay and one is prepay then it can.

razr is with tmobile. lines are regular accounts(postpaid), my contract expires august 18th.
