| | Billing and all..
I just decided to migrate to AT&T three days ago..
I have a family plan (700 minutes), and I got the 30 personal plan and 200 text messages..
and I've heard that AT&T's bill gets so outrageously high and you won't even know what you used it for to get that much of a bill.
anyway, im so afraid this might happen to me..
I'm still a little afraid to use my BB much coz Im scared what I would be getting charged on.. coz for some reason AT&T will always find some reason why the bill for the month was high..
for now I'm only using Jivetalk which I think/pretty sure uses Data instead of per-message (coz that would suck, I've been using it too much)
anyways..
what's everyone's monthly bill if you all dont mind?
what was your highest? and why was it high?
sorry for the questions =\

| | The first bill is usually pretty high as AT&T charges in advanced as well as the current cycle...
For example... If your cycle is from the 7th to the 6th of every month. (I use this because you stated you started three days ago, but more than likely your cycle does not start on the same day.) You will be charged for the Family plan (let's say you have two lines) 69.99 (60 for the primary and 9.99 for the secondary) for both from May 7th to June 6th. You will also be charged 69.99 for June 7th to July 6th. Same goes with every feature (BB personal for $30) on the account.
That's already 209.98, without any additional features on your line or the other. Also this is assuming your cycle starts on the day you started service. I would put at least $100 dollars down now to eat up some of the pain of looking at the new invoice. Also I'm not sure whether your going to get charged activation fees, but you may or may not see an additional $62 on top of that.
To top it off, taxes and surcharges... I would say, no more than $230 without act fees, $270 with.
Every invoice after that, you will just be paying for any usage for the current month (if you went over your allotment of text messages or minutes and then the month ahead, MSC.) |

I have 5 lines on my ATT plan, 1400min, 1 BB Connect and unlimited family messaging
Line 1 (mine)
$80: 1400 shared minutes
$30: unlimited BIS
$30: unlimited FAMILY messaging, SMS, MMS
All 4 other lines are 9.99 each.
So, for 5 lines i pay: $180/ month, before taxes and fees.
Usually ends up between 210-230, depending.

Well the added line is:
9.99/month, 30 for the BB and 10? for the messaging.
so you are looking at about 50 a month for your bill.
The activation fee, $36, is added into your 1st bill, and may/may not have been waived.

Call att and tell them to waive the activation fee. They usually do it.

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com | Wow... hence why I send customers back to the store if that's the case. Better yet, I usually ask to call with the customer on the line with me. Tell the truth and it will set you free! |

| | Well if you are just an add on, you should expect too much on the invoice. I thought you were starting up a family plan.
No more than $90. No more than $115 with Activation fees. That is assuming you were added on the bill cycle start date. More than likely you weren't and it will be less. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | | |
