Default Wipe/Reset or have AT&T do it?

I just received an 8300 from my Dad. I took it to AT&T and got setup on a monthly plan. They changed out the SIM card and that was pretty much it. The phone still has a lot of his stuff (contacts, old gmail, work email, etc.). I thought maybe a new SIM card would wipe that stuff but didn't. Can/should I just do the reset or take it back in and have them do it?

I have to go back anyway as I'm having some battery problem when it shuts off after 10-15 minutes on a full charge - which I've read about in other posts... sigh.

Thanks for your tips.

You can wipe to them if they already solve your batt problems. Of course it's free of charge

Hey, thanks for the fast reply. I thought about trying it to see if it might help with the quick batt drain problem but from the looks of it around here prolly not.

How fast the battery drain? Is your WiFi and Bluetooth enabled? My curve is able to survive at least 16hrs with WiFI and Bluetooth enabled.
