Default Will the Jupiter Jack work with the 8330?

Hi. I need to get a handfree connector for my BB 8330 for my car. I was looking at the Jupiter jack thing from walgreens. Will it work with my phone? I need it to make calls and would also like to be able to play music with it...IDK if it will work.

I believe there is a Blackberry-brand car transmitter in the Crackberry Store.

A few different brands, actually, and more expensive than the Jupiter Jack, but you may be able to find these models elsewhere.

why not use the speaker phone that's bilt in the phone? I use mine all the time and have no problems at all. But people will buy anything theses days. My thoughts are no need to spend money when the phone works very well with what it has bilt in!

Just saw that infomercial this morning, looked like a great product, but wondered if it would work with my 8820. "Works with any Phone"?? Right! Glad I read these posts first, before I ordered one.

i saw that before and lauged. first of all, the 99.whatever is a legit station here, i'm willing to bet it wouldnt work just because of that.

but i had a transmitter for my ipod that worked like that, and i wasnt impressed, so i doubt that this would work any better

Have you tried just using a bluetooth headset? YOu can find one easily for under $20, or you can try your luck with This free one (after rebate). I ordered one for the heck of it -- works well -- though not the most comfortable fix. I prefer my motorola H550

I bought one of these from walgreens for 9.99 and I love it. It should fit any phone since it comes with several adapters. I set one of my radio presets to match the ones for jupiter jack and I can hear the caller through my car stereo. Laugh if you will but its a Nice little feature for 10 bucks.

Btw. I do have one of those transmitters that someone mentioned that you're supposed to be able to use to pump music or whatever through your stereo. Yea it works as long as you can keep the station tuned in. For some reason the jupiter jack must transmit differently because I have not experienced that cutting in and out like I do with my belkin. Belkin is better for music though. When it works. No bass with the jupiter jack so its best used just for phone conversations. Just my 2.5 cents!

I have the Blackberry Curve 8330, and I bought the Jupiter Jack. I can't get it to work. You have to use the adapter, the book says some Blackberry models have a "turn the headset on" option, but I can't find it. Maybe the stations don't come in, but all I get is static on both settings. If anyone can help me, that would be great too.
