BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.5.0.152 (Multilanguage)

Note: The Software Platform and Applications version numbers can be found under Options-About screen on the handheld.

For install instruction to load any carrier 8320 OS on your BB:

1. Back up data on Desktop Manager under Back up/restore option
2. Back up your 3rd party apps. Instructions here--> http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-...cations-53201/
3. Disconnect your BB from Desktop Manager
4. Download desired OS to your PC
5. Install/run OS to PC
6. Delete vendor.xml file. It's located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader
7. Connect BB to Desktop Manager and it should prompt the upgrade. If not click app loader and that should initialize it.
8. Do not unplug BB during the process. It will take around 30-60 minutes to complete upgrade.

***Steps 2 is optional but recommended

This one takes a while to download LOL

I was getting in a BB rut, so this will keep me busy tonight with that, and crackmem again, then of course activating my apps LOL

Ooo this version is giving me issues LOL I think Im winning the battle though... had to force a few things go go ahead.. seems to be loading ok again, at this point..

All the other OS Ive installed were not carrier specific, this one is AT&T and yeh I deleted the vendor.xlm file, its still looking diff to me from what I remember my other updates to be, hoping because it is a carrier version LOL

Seems to be installing now...

Ok done, but I had to a few extra things I never had to do in my other versions, and now Im doing a restore, which I never had to do in my others, but its up and somewhat going LOL

Now onto tweaking

Is it really that hard for ATT to release 4.5 on ALL 8300s, and not just the 8320? I had to get 4.5 from another carrier, and being a BB newb, it was a pain!!!

Yeah, what's upgraded/fixed? I'm not having any issues with .81 so I'm not sure if it's even worth me upgrading.

I am just hoping this will fix my memory leak problem from .81

EDIT: I can't even update, DM recognizes it, but when I go to update, it says I do not have to. Any help?
