I'm not sure why the 8130 link is not working. I'll check it. Hmmm...

Thanks for that, but it looks like it's missing some information. I copied the file over to my device and tried to run it (since it's not an axl file), and got the error message "download failed". Any ideas?

Sorry, guess I misunderstood. I had thought this would allow a desktop install as I don't have OTA capabilites. Was able to download the COD file as well, but got an error message while copying from my media card. Anyone have access to the alx file perchance?
Thanks.

Does the postal service have any law against shipping alcohol, cause I'd overnight you a nice mug of the best of whatever you like, because you sir, deserve a nice beverage. This(Today+) actually works on the 8800, and is an amazing theme.

in today plus is there anyway I can change the font/color on the today screen? the parts that say "calendar" "messages" is great but underneath that it is kind of a black with grey outline that is hard to read.

Install new themes without ota access

Ok, here's the way to install these themes for those of us without ota access. thanks to mattmarenic for posting the original links above:

Scribble http://mobile.blackberry.com/resourc...x240_422_b.jad
Today Plus http://mobile.blackberry.com/resourc...x240_422_b.jad

but further to that, you need the .cod files that go along with it. all i did was change the extension to .cod, downloaded that file, then opened the .jad file in notepad and noticed there were were further .cod files required to complete the installation. changed the file name to match those in the link in explorer, downloaded them, then ran the .jad file from media player and it found the missing .cod files and installed the themes successfully!! Here are the .jad files in notepad for both themes:

if its just an issue with having the jad/jar combo why not create a folder in your device memory and upload them to there and then browse using your media via eplore and then just hit the download option. There are a few forums on non-ota games transfer from pc to phone, Im assuming that the process is the same as i only ever use the jar folder when doing that.
