Default Grand Central and MyFaves

Ok...Do I understand this correctly ?

I recently got a grandcentral number, and if I set that number as one of my MyFaves, does that mean I will have unlimited incoming calling ? ! ?

Will still get my email and text messages ?

This thing seems to good to be true !
Also, what other benefits and tricks are there with this GrandCentral ?

Thanks in advance...

You will need to go into Settings>Caller ID> and pick "Display my GrandCentral number; I will know if the call came through my GrandCentral number".

Add your G/C# as one of your Faves and you are good to go.

Check out the blog on CB. There's an article about it a day or two ago.

not only that, but if u dont mind spending a couple seconds going online, u can add ur contacts to ur GC account. once u have done that, u can go to the mobile site, click on contacts and choose which person u want to call. click on call and GC central will call you and then connect u to person of intrest. (kinda sets up a three way calling i guess). if u have it set as one of ur faves, u will make that call for free. havent fully tried it cuz its the weekend n i get free weekend minutes. but just a heads up.

It works that way. You just have to get all of your contacts in your GC contact list. Not a big deal, it will import right from Outlook or most any other files.

I'm almost tempted to switch my plan over to a Myfave instead of the 1000/39.99 plan.

Wow that's some pretty innovative thinking you guys did free number from gc and fav 5 calling plan too bad I got att and suffer through 450 minutes. Good thing I don't spend too much time on my phone during the day.

Default GrandCentral Number?

1st. time on this site, and I saw something interesting. What is a GrandCentral Number? Does anyone know if this will work with a T-Mobile Wing? Do I have to have My Faves? Thanks, and good luck to all. This seems like a real cool site.

Where do you find the settings folder on the Curve 8320?
Also, what # appears when you text someone. The GC # or your official T Mobile #?

Thanks for the help!

its ur TMO number... remember, ur GC number is (to put simply) a free forwarding number. it is just a phone number that people can call and then forwards the call to which ever u phone number u make it forward to, whether its ur t-mo, house, work, etc.
