Default Capitalization at the beginning of sentences

I'm helping my little sister set up her new BlackBerry Curve and she wants to know is there any way that you can stop the phone from automatically making the 1st word of every sentence capitalized other than deleting it and typing it over?

I don't know why she would want to do this but oh well I'm just trying to help lol.

There is an ignore case option but that may only apply when sending e-mails

That is only for the spell checker when sending e-mails. As maxiang said, there is no way to turn this off.

It is strongly suspected, that was the first feature implimented to justify calling BlackBerry a Smart Phone.

Clearly, nobody would chose to ignore the most basic rules of grammer and language use? lol

Hey man.. I'm sure there must be someway to change that... Try going to the settings and I believe you might be able to disable that feature in the auto correct function.. I'm not sure why your sister would want to disable that option.. I mean it makes you look smart if you use good puncuation! Good luck man!
