When you downloaded this did any of you lose your blackberry messenger, your memo pad, to-do list, and brick breaker...I can't seem to find them since my update of the software does anyone know what I can do to bring them back?!

I haven't downloaded this new version, but it sounds like those icons might be hidden (it happens when I change themes sometimes). When you are in full menu and your screen shows all the icons, try going to the Blackberry menu and select "Show All."

I just updated both my Curve 8330 and my wifes Pearl 8130 this weekend by following the Verizon instructions...

First, I updated my Desktop software and did a reboot.

Second, I installed the 4.5 OS software and the Desktop installer did the rest. It actually backed up all the data AND Programs (We have a couple non-blackberry programs installed, a shopping list, a gas milage program and some games) and re-installed the aftermarket programs too. And yes, the brickbreaker too.

I was very impressed that it even installed the aftermarket programs. During the install it does prompt you with a list of the programs it is about to install maybe brick breaker wasn't selected.

I would think you can install that using the Desktop Software by selecting Install Programs but I haven't used that feature yet.

I looked at the hidden icons but my brick breaker, messenger, to do list and memo are gone since the update. I don't know if I need to re-do it or something. I miss my memo pad!

So you can put another carrier's OS on your BB.
