Default AT&T Pearl on BES can't activate

Hello.

We are a 150 user installation. BES 4.1.6, Verizon, all Curve 8330s.

We had a new contractor start and he wanted to use his personal Pearl (on AT&T) instead of our company Curve. I tried to run enterprise activation but it just stalls out with "....", no errors or anything.

He has multiple POP accounts on the device that seem to be working. Would that guarantee he has an appropriate plan?

Is there any reason I can't mix cellular carriers on a BES?

Or do Pearls just taking a REALLY long time to run enterprise activation? I waited almost 10 minutes.

Since its a personal BB has he called to add a BES plan to his account?

I didn't know if the POP/BIS accounts were working if that was good enough. Thanks for the tip I'll have him call AT&T.

Ya a BIS plan won't work, he'll need a BES plan.
