Downloading now (for exchange).

I'm actually a little suprised by this release. I was expecting the next update to be tied in with the release of RIM OS 4.5 . Unless I'm mistaken, I do not believe this update included BES support for some of the new 4.5 features right?

If you don't have a device with 4.5 OS, you won't see much difference. HTML emails, searching emails on the server, free/busy calendar look ups and many others require the new OS.

I upgraded my server but you are right. I don't see how we could use the new features without a OS upgrade on the client side. I guess this means that the 4.5 OS release should be any time soon now. Hopefully it's today or next week.

I still find it weird that you release a server update with new features where most of the new features require a device OS upgrade that you still have not provided or made available...

Default Os 4.5

I think this indicates that RIM will release OS 4.5 soon. Why would it release this new service pack, with a bunch of features that are useless without the new OS, if they aren't planning to release it soon.

WES starts on May 12 and goes through the 15th. That sounds about right for a release of the new OS. Let's hope so, at least....
