Default BES IT Policy for SprintTV

Hey guys, I'm relatively new to taking care of BES, and it's gone well, but I've hit my first snag.

I have a user who wants to be able to access SprintTV and the Sprint Music Store from his 8830. Whenever he tries, he gets the following message:

Quote:
The defined security policies restrict media access. To enable media, please contact your Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) administrator.
Sprint has been no help at all, so I'm consulting the collective knowledge of the internet. Has anybody seen this before?

Sounds like in the I.T. Policy for the 'group' the user is in, media / memory cards and the likes is blocked.

I'd ask myself first, is this something that they need? Is the device a work device, or did they buy it?

It's touchy because albeit the device might be theirs, the data/BES belongs to the company, and they may not want people browsing to their media, etc (not sure what rules you have there).

As a test, move them to the same I.T. Policy you're in (I'm guessing you have a BlackBerry on BES, but with full/open I.T. Policy, right?), and see what happens...
