Default BB Internet Access Restricted

I'm hoping someone can help me out, and that I'm in the correct board. I'm debating with my IT Dept that they have restricted my internet access on my BB, while they insist they have not. I had my work email installed on my BB last week with help from my IT department. Ever since then, if I try to access webpages like myspace, facebook, etc, I get an error 403, access restricted. When I press on the DETAILS button, I see the logo of the filtering hardware our work network uses, along with the reason why the website is restricted. I gave this info to them, but they insist that they do not restrict BB's internet access, and that I must be picking up work's wireless network. Funny, but these restrictions occur everywhere: work, home, in a store, anywhere. Yet they continue to say it is not them. This was never an issue prior to them installing my work email.
Can someone shed some light for me?
In the whole scheme of things, it's not really a big deal, as I don't really access anything that would be restricted anyways, but it's the idea that they put restrcitions on my personal phone (they do reimburse the monthly bill) without notifying me or acknowledging it.
Thanks!

The only 2 ways you'll get that error is if the MDS Connection service is stopped, or they are filtering your websites via Websense.

Although with Websense, you'll actually get a Websense block page. That error your getting seems like an MDS Connection service issue.
