Angry Whats the best way to use pop email?

Ok, I just started with a company that doesn't have BES, they use POP. I know I lose a lot with this but how can I set up my Curve 8810 (att) the most efficiently with POP?
1) Can I only use an email signature with BES? Also, I want to be able to sync everything.
2) Is there a way to still sync wirelessly with the emails via Redirector and then use the usb to sync calendar, contacts, notes & tasks?
3) What exactly does Redirector do?

My old company was the Desktop/Default email w/signature, etc. I have my yahoo & new company as personal emails. And the email that was considered "Desktop" from the old company is now gone or it should be.
4) How can I get my new company's pop email as the Desktop account (default acct.)?
5) Also, if I send an email using the default acct it shows as coming from my old company. Do I need to get their administrator to fully delete my account or can I do it myself from device?

HELP........

Default

1) Log onto AT&T's BIS web site and set up your emails there. You can have up to 10 email accounts on your BB. You can also change your signature there. The only syncing you can do wirelessly is read and deleted emails. I you want anything else you will need a hosted BES.

2 & 3) not familiar with redirector

4) DKN

5) You can change the default account on your BB. Options>Advanced Options>Default Services. You can change the default email address your BB uses when you send email.

Hope this helps.
