Default Smartphone Recommendation

I am a director of a non profit and will be purchasing 2 or 3 smartphones for staff. One is making an argument for an I Phone as opposed to a blackberry curve. In our area, the I Phone is served by AT&T. I would like to upgrade our current plan with Cellcom where we have had great service to add the blackberries. It will ultimately be my decision, but I would like to hear the pros and cons from those in the know for the Blackberry Curve vs. I-Phone. Any feedback would be appreciated.

If you are going to use them mainly for email get the curve. The Iphone uses a pull email that can really kill the battery if you have it searching for emails at its 15 minute intervals, which is the most often it can search. The curve uses a push email and gets them almost instantaneously <------ spell check. If you are using them for multimedia (which I wouldn't see why for a business phone?) I would get the Iphone. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I don't see a great deal of multi media for what they will be used for. I have been researching and have discovered that the I Phone battery is not one of the better ones.

Iphone battery is not user replaceable which may also be an issue. Curve has cut and paste, superior messaging, mms, better security. Iphone is very easy to use, integrates with Mac computing environment, etc. Employees may be easily distracted downloading apps from Apple's app store.
