Default Internal e-mail access via OWA

Hello everybody. I'm the only BB user in our company (BB has just officialy come to Russia), so I'm unlikely to receive any help offline.
Some time ago, I had a real e-mail address (login@somedomain.ru) and used to access it via OWA.
Yesterday our IT blocked real addresses (honestly, I don't really use it) so now I only have internal e-mail login@ other.local.
I still can use OWA from my laptop, but when I try to connect via BIS it says
it can't find mail server for other.local.
Interestingly, I could still access my e-mail for some time even after the e-mail was changed, but I couldn't send e-mails. When I tried to re-create the BIS account, even receiving was gone.
Does anyone have the same setup? Or any ideas about possible workaround?
