Default Help> Hosted BES

Good day all,

I am looking for a BES solution. I have a small company with only 3 users with Berries and we don't have a fully deployable IT department or BES administrator so we are looking to outsource a BES solution somewhere.

Does anyone have any good referals or companies they use for this?
If so, how does it sync with your outlook system?

Thanks very much!

arigato kozaimas kojisan. am not an expert but if i were you i would just have a dedicated pc with a Desktop Redirector setup if all you require is for your bb devices to sync with outlook. BES can be expensive and looking at the no of staff that you have it would not justify the cost. you can also signup for the blackberry internet service (BIS) provided by your service provider. you can then configure the web-based BIS to sync with your email account. you might want to find out more from your service provider on this.

I am in a similar situation but we do have BES plan on our BB's (each shares same email accts). We just want to setup two-way push email to our BB's, nothing fancy with Calendars, Address Book, etc.

I envision a perfect world where the following occurs if I used a dedicated PC hooked to to gmail and hotmail accts - like you mention:
1) Everytime an email comes it, Redirector pushes to our BB's. If any of the BB's opens the email, this info pushes back to the laptop which then pushes to the other BB's so the email become 'read' on all the across all platforms (PC and all BB's as well as hotmail and gmail servers).
2) IF an email is deleted on the PC, this info propogates to all the BB's with this email acct (as well as the hotmail or gmail servers)
3) if I send an email from any BB, this is sync'd to the PC then inturn to the hotmail or gmail servers.

So, can ReDirector be setup to accomplish all of this? I envision a solution where I leave a pc on 24x7 with Outlook Express running - polling for incoming emails (from gmail and hotmail) every 1 minute, with ReDirector doing its 'magic'.
