BES Message Tracking
Hello all,
Recently my company installed tracking software (unsure what type) to monitor use of messaging services on our corporate blackberries. My BB got tagged as a high volume user, and I was told I used 4,000 texts in a month. I showed them the bill that had me at under 150 SMS texts, and they blamed PIN messaging to make up the difference. I only have 6 friends with blackberries, and only two could I have gone over 25 with (one was admittedly quite frequent, as it was somewhat of a love interest for a couple of weeks). With some quick math, they're telling me I sent over 3,500 PIN messages to this one girl in about a two week span -- and keep in mind BBM is disabled so these were manual PINs. I just can't fathom that. I haven't been shown the logs and am trying to pursue that, but before it escalates too largely, am I totally going to be proven wrong here? I have the Mobile GMail application installed, do you think it could be tagging those messages?
Like I said, one part of me is adamant that if I was averaging 250 messages to one person a day for two WEEKS, I'd realize that. The other part thinks how could the software lie?
Please lend any insight.
Thanks in advance!
