Default Being made to move from BES to BIS on my Handset, is there a workaround?

Hello All

Im currently with T-Mobile in the UK, however my boss is moving our contract to Vodafone. In doing so he has also decided that we will not have BES activated on the phones as Voda charge £25 extra a month whereas BIS is included in the priceplan. I am the only one who actually uses BES, and I look after the server. I spoke to the Vodafone Rep and she told me that some people had managed to get their berries to work with BES while they were only on a BIS plan...

Does anyone know if this is possible and how to do it?

I dont mind about having to synch my contacts and calendar via the USB, however i really need to send and receive corporate email from my corporate address when I am skiving!

Thanks all!

Not sure if this is actually what you are looking for but ...

Have you tried a hosted BES provider? I use TheMessageCenter and pay around $18 USD per month. Works flawlessly and can still have BIS accounts. The tech support people are little arrogant, but ask for Tiffany, she's great. I'd go through withdrawals without this service, since we don't use a BES in our firm.

Also, you can find a list of hosted BES services at BBGeeks.com. Look on the menu to right on the home page, "Hosted Exchange" I think it is.

Hope this helps.
