Motorola S9 Headset

You guys rock! I just got these, synched them at home and they worked great. I quickly got changed and headed to the gym and then.......NOTHING!!!! I could not get them to play music at all. Got home and still could not get them to work. Checked Motorola's website and it was useless. I don't know why I didn't come here first. Anyway, removed the battery and now they are working great again. Thanks for the info. I hope this doesn't happen often though, kind of a pain in the **** if it does. Thanks again!!

hey. I love my S9 headset. works great, inside, outside, in stores, biking. Connects well and quickly.
But I just noticed that when I receive calls, the phone rings with my ring tone, but it uses a different ring tone thru the headset.
I also don't recieve audio warning of incoming messages.

Anyone else as that? It's quite a minor problem, just curious.

Found mine at Amazon for $37.50. Paired up no problem, all controls work. However, it disconnects when idle, or when i hang up from a call. Today, used it on a call for a while. Hung up, but kept the headset on. Got a cal a short time later, and the headset was off. Turned it back on and it worked fine. Was on a call, had another come in, answered it (call waiting), but when I hung up to retrieve the first call, it shut off. Turned it back on, finished the call and when I hung up, it shut off again. Starting to get aggravating.

MofoDo. I don't think ANY headset will play custom ring tones through the ear piece. I have a Jabra headset that plays circus music for incoming calls. Hope this helps.

I'm on my second set of S9's in 1 year..and while I like them...I've had the same stinking thing happen to me. The sound goes to crap and left control quits working. Happened on a 4 mile jog this morning..guess no idea why..not raining..

This is normal. The headset sends out bluetooth signals that bounce off the walls inside of buildings, bouncing back to your phone. When you step outside, the signals don't have anything to bounce off of and the phone doesn't pick any of them up. Move the phone closer to the headset and it should work fine. Sometimes, having the phone on your belt is too far away when outside.
