Well theres been at least 20 threads, other than yours on this subject already. The Niagara is basically a Bold, and the Jupiter is basically a new Curve like the 8900.

Was there a recent post somewhere that stated Jupiter is some new phone that is going to be released? Why are people throwing the name Jupiter around?

Jupiter is the internal name for the Curve 8330, nothing more.

Jupiter is the internal name for the Curve 8930, not the 8330.

Niagara = CDMA 8830 replacement. 8830/Bold keyboard styling, possibly in a Storm like form.

Jupiter = CDMA Javelin / Curve 8930.

Take a look at RIM 2009 Roadmap shows 3 new CDMA models and more… » BlackBerry Sync - BlackBerry News You Can Sync With… and you'll see that the Jupiter is the CMDA Curve 8930 scheduled for 1H/CY2009.

From that roadmap, the Javelin has already made its way to market. the next one on the list is the Niagara (8830 replacement) followed by the Jupiter 8930 and the Apex (Pearl Flip).

haha, thats awesome. If that truly is from RIM, it is really really old and has only surfaced recently. More likely, it is a chart fabricated by someone NOT from RIM who had fuzzy information. The chart is already incorrect by way of the Niagara being the 9630.

I have no doubt that there is a 8930, but it is NOT called Jupiter.
