I paid $10 for 60 minutes just to give it a try and play some crank calls to family / friends. It's fun. But, not all of the options work too well.
To those getting the "invalid north america" message -- try NOT entering the number directly, but instead press the menu key and select the number from your phone book.
I'm also having problems getting it to go directly to voice mail, however the person I called uses youmail and perhaps that's confusing the spoof app.
I called my mother in law. I set the caller ID as Walgreens pharmacy and said, "the prescription for maximum strength Viagra is ready for Steve (my father in law)" I did it with the female voice. I wanted to leave a voice mail, but instead it was a live call. She had trouble understanding me -the voice encryption makes the voice hard to understand. I had to repeat myself a few times and talk really slow. But, it still cracked me up and confused the he.ll out of her. I called her back a few minutes later (no spoofing) and before I could even tease her about the crank call - she blurts out, "do you know where Steve is?!!?" I asked, "why?" and she was all "ummm.... I just need to talk with him -- RIGHT AWAY!"
The 123spoof site says you can go directly to voice mail and can preview the message, but I can't figure out how. Any help out there??
