Default Blackberry 9300 - Gemini

BlackBerry Gemini 9300 information, specs : Boy Genius Report

Is this the Curve 3? Sounds pretty cool, but not much better than the 8900

I think that this is definitely better than the 8900 especially if it had both gps and wifi... That would be the best bb period.

Too bad BGR has no clue as to what they're talking about.

like I posted on the front page... curve form factor with Bold like specs... could this REALLY be the so called "Niagara", instead of a "Gemini"

It's pretty sick isn't this just the 3G version of the 8900?

If verizon gave me the bold in a curve body, my only question would be "how fast can you take my money?"

no.
not at all.
and definitely not.
Niagara is CDMA with a Bold/8830-like keyboard, model number 9030.
According to BGR, Gemini is GSM with a Curve-like keyboard, model number 9300.
I'm not sure the two could be any more DIFFERENT

I don't have a whole lot to add to this discussion (especially after CX's comment) other than:
When are we going to start hearing about BlackBerrys with LTE chips?

you could be right... the same way RIM released a 8300, 8320, and an 8330.They may be doing the same with "this" device...

but I'm taking what BGR said with a grain of salt, since the 8830 also had sim/gsm capabilities. And there have been rumours floating around that the replacement for that device, the CDMA bold will have almost a 8900 form factor.
