Default Windows Live Messenger on 8820 TMobile Questions

I'm pretty sure that Live Messenger runs over the data connection and not texts, correct?

Also, is there a way to stop the text messages to let you know you have an incoming message?

yes the IM uses data

and to your queation about the text. do u have a separete icon for the sms? or is that what ur after sorry let me know and i will help you
