Default PeeKaWho v1.164 - with PeeKaLab (think Google Lab)

Beta v1.164 is out now:

http://www.smrtguard.com/download/1164/421/peek.jad

What's NEW:
- PeeKaLab (think Google Lab), we have added a "Flashlight" features within a new screen call PeeKaLab. Try it out. Will rename to PeeKaLight if people like it
- Grouped LED function into the PeeKaLab screen
- Email/SMS LED will come on with each single email.
- Fixed activation bug (no need to reactivate so long as you don't do a device upgrade). With each upgrade after this, no need to reenter code.
- Fixed a minor Pearl 8100 bug.

It also has everything v1.163 had, just to recap:
- SMS/Email LED Alerts
- Able to change colors on email/sms LED alerts
- Able to enable / disable LED Alerts
- LED Alerts and Popup alerts are separate (more below in the tip area)
- Always On allow will popup in holster / Locked / USB, when it is unchecked, popup will show only when the screen is idle or BB is in use.
- Preference to switch between default popup text color or "PeeKaWho chosen" colors

MORE ON v1.163 and how it lead to v1.164

Any suggestion / question, post it here or betasupport@smrtguard.com

Thanks for your support.

I do have to say that they put alot of effort in this application and that i am still going to continue to upgrade till there is an official release. I have been using it since the day it came out and figured i've gone this far...

I agree. I've been with this app since day one and they are constantly updating it based on what users have said (even if it was silly things about a flashlight that started as a bug, lol!)

My only hiccup with this version, which could just be a beta thing, is that i have the LED to be blue for SMS, sometimes it stays blue until i dismiss it, other times it starts blue and then flashes red until i dismiss. Will the stable version have the option to flash blue (or green, or any color really) until the popup is dismissed?

LOVE this app by the way!!

This version does not cut it for me. When I receive a new message the led does not blink. It just stays on, blinding me with a bright light until I make a selection. Hard trying to make a selection with this light shining in my eyes. I'm going to try to find the link and revert back to V1.163

Change it to a color other than white. White blinds me too, hence the introduction of the 'flashlight' feature. LOL

Had it set to blue. My eyes are still messed up, and I now have slight headache. I like the mark as read feature and the confirm delete feature. Perhaps a way to enable / disable the light feature would be nice. The default red blinking light was subtle.

You can disable the LED alert if that's what you mean. When you're in peekawho, click the berry button, click peeka-lab and you can disable it. That feature is still in beta, these guys are great at getting stuff fixed and fast in a later release.

The colored leds are kind of bright. I would like to be able to disable the colored led (which is kind of bright), reverting back to the blackberry red led which is dimmer. If I disable the colored led there's no option to use the defualt. It's either all or nothing.

Yea that's a good point. I bet they add that in. It would be nice to turn peekawhos led off but keep the devices setting. Look for the next release in a few days. At the rate they've been going it seems like whatever we wish for they do for us

Yeah, the LED alert is not going away after reading the new SMS (pretty annoying).

Other than that, I like the color options and am glad the text is white again so it is readable.

Three letters: BBM.

That would make this fully killer. Oh, and a nicer interface with the standard VZ 5 icon theme would be nice too.

But add BBM, and this will be the best app for bberry ever
