Hi All,
I just installed on the 8700 (per tmag). How do people think it compares to BB Browser? Differences? Likes dislikes?
Thanks in advance....

I like them both for different reasons. You'll find that Opera will act more like the browser on your PC, but it's not always easy to navigate.

| | Just for you MMB...
I've installed Opera Mini (could never get it to work years ago), and followed her instructions to enter the APN details, now the bloody thing works, and it's not half bad!
All that to say, THANKS! |

I like it....I can't use my online banking stuff on the regular BB browser, but it works on Opera....same situation with myspace and some other sites.

I think it depends on what banking site you use, because mine doesn't work either, but I have heard from several people who can get it to work with their bank.

| | Opera Mini
I prefer Opera Mini. It looks a little more slick. Aside from that I'm not really a big fan of either of the browsers.. The speed is fine but the screens are just too small.. If only someone released a full-resolution bluetooth eyepiece.

Yes, I have been playing with Opera mini and I like the interface much better than either the BB or Cingular Browser - now if I could just make it the default browser

Like MMB - I would like to make Opera my default browser, but i do love the way it redirects you to the BB browser if you need to download stuff....
Maybe Opera and RIM should comnbine forces and give you the option to choose either as default, but have it customised?
What Opera Skin are people using?
Snow, Original, Grey or Pink? |

| | Opera Skin...
I'm using Dark for now...
What skin are you using, tmag?
That would make one great browser - combined forces!! Quote:
