Keeps coming up with:

"Unknown response from Twitter Service, likely they are overcapacity, try again!"

or

"Unknown Error"

Going back to TwitterBerry I can access the service fine.

I've also noticed that since opening UberTwitter my LED is constantly flashing red even though I have no messages etc and clicked Exit in the app. I have the LED coverage indicator off.

Info from About:

Ive officially uninstalled the app. Not to say that I didn't completely like it but it definitely has it's quirks. And while I understand that it is in early beta, I'm just spoiled by Social Scope.

I have downloaded it and really like it vs Twitterberry 0.8 Waiting to see how that works and SocialScope that I keep hearing about.

Question- does this app send updates via the data connection vs sending a SMS?

its a nice layout, i like how socialscope shows twitpic pics right in the tweet though instead of a link to go online. seems promising though even at an early beta though

I'm torn between this and Tiny Twitter. The current version of Social Scope is just kinda meh (for me, anyway).

As far as UberTwitter goes, I like the location-aware aspect for nearby tweeps and the trending topics, but this app is asking for an awful lot of permissions. I don't really feel like going through and figuring out which ones it actually NEEDS to work correctly, and it would be nice if the app came pre-configured for permissions (unless I'm missing something and it really does need every single permission set to "Allow"). It certainly is fast though. I don't use Google Talk but that might be an interesting thing to look into. As far as the whole "adding my location to every tweet" thing....I dunno. Seems like it would eat up my 140 characters pretty quick but I guess it's nice if used strategically.

I'd say it's a toss-up between UberTwitter and Tiny Twitter. I'll be interested to see what Social Scope's next update looks like. And it's nice that there's finally a 4-horse race happening with twitter apps that aren't for the iPhone.

I downloaded it but when I clicked on the icon on my home screen it didn't do anything. Even when I clicked on it I was able to move my truckball to the next icon which tells me it didn't even get it.
Long story short-I deleted it.

I'm torn between this and socialscope. SocialScope is on and off for me. Slower with tweets and gives me old facebook updates.

Ubertwitter seems to be much faster wit tweets but I like the integration of facebook. I'll mess around with both for a while and see.
