Default Magmic Medieval Kings Chess -- No Auto-Forfeit

Magmic's Medieval Kings Chess II usually causes an auto-forfeit if an opponent fails to move with seven days. However, this feature has not worked since the middle of February. Some of my opponents failed to move for more than a month, until I decided to forfeit the games to clear up space.

Magmic support acknowledged the problem in February, but I have been unsuccessful in contacting anyone since then. I found John Criswick's (Magmic CEO) email address and wrote to him, but have yet to receive a reply.

Has anyone else had better results, and is there any current status?

---Michael

Hi Michael, we have been dealing with hyper growth issues in January / February this year but our support has now reached back to a 24 - 48 hour turn around time (there have been negative comments about our support in other forums). Your issue has been noted.

I have received your email and forwarded it to support and trust you'll get a response shortly.

As far as MKC II goes, we'll be releasing a new version of that game this year via our Vancouver studio and look for feedback on features for that game. You can send those to me directly (criswick@magmic.com) or to our support email.

Cheers,

...John Criswick

Default Thank you!

Hi John,

Thank you for the personal reply! Will the current version of MKC2 stay in this current state until the new version is released?

My co-worker actually made me download it to play with him. He accidentally hit deny all connections and now every time I try to start the game, I have to pull my battery and I haven't gotten around to downloading it again. I did the same with google maps with allow the connections, so it's not MKC.

I have the same issue. Has anyone heard about when this will be resolved?
