How do I back up my purchased apps using Device Manager?

Hi guys
I will be switching from the curve to the tour and I have been told to back up my purchases apps using DM, can anyone help me and tell me how I would go about doing that?

Be advised that no matter what you do, some third party apps won't backup. It's always wise to keep registration codes on a different device, so you can recover them if you have to reinstall the app.
