Default Thanks for a great tool!

staino:

Great Job. I performed an OTA installation, and subsequently started the sync. I did not have any contacts in my Gmail, so Conjola added my BB contacts to Gmail with no issues.

Afterwards, I added one contact to Gmail manually, and initiated a sync. I found that the sync was successful; however, I did notice two peculiarities:
  1. Conjola currently does not sync "Title".
  2. Conjola adds the address to BB from Gmail to the "Address1" field only.

Otherwise, I am very pleased and grateful for your work on developing this tool.

Thanks

You're trying to use it with Google Apps?

My understanding is that it won't work with Google Apps, only Gmail accounts.

Default Awesome

Great job! Migrated Google Apps contacts to Gmail to try it. Works great. I'd be happy to pay for Google Apps support and look forward to doing so. Only other request that I would have is for an automatic sync interval similar to Google's Calendar Sync. Thank you and goodbye Outlook Contacts.

Default Bold vs. Storm

The ability to sync gmail contacts is critical for me. I am in the market for my first Blackberry (I have a Treo 700 P for years and T 600 and T 300 before that). Do you have any idea if your product will work on Storm? Will it work better on the Bold or Storm?
Thank you.
Mitch

Hi Mars

Can you please confirm you are using your gmail account or google apps account?

Apps does not work for this version. Ill be releasing a paid version for google apps shortly.

If you getting the error trying to use the gmail account can you please send me the log file by doing the following:

download the log file grabber:
http://www.debosoft.com.au/conjolasync/GetLog.zip
* Attach phone to USB cable
* Run "getlog.bat"
* This will download the log.txt file
* Email log file to support@conjolasync.com

Let me know how you go.

Regards

Hi Werdlum

Title is not supported at the moment. Working on it.....

Also working on how to get the address field right. Address fields for gmail and bb are different. Will release a new version in a few days that should give better address support.

The reason why I started this project.....I hate outlook

Automatic sync is in the pipeline....about a week I would think (this will be done in conjunction with a background sync so you dont get stuck on the sync screen for a mins)

I know it works on the bold. I have not had anyone test on the storm that I know of. I think the software on the bold and the storm will be the same (can anyone tell me if this is correct?).

If it doesnt work on the storm when its released - support will be added quickly.

I think the BES service is causing the issue. It would be great if you can send me the log file:

download the log file grabber

* Run "getlog.bat"

Ill have a new version ready in a few days that adds logging to the program so I can view any issues occuring.

Keep an eye out here on the forums in a few days. When it does come out please do a debug clear and send me the log file.

My Blackberry 8320 OS4.5 has 79 contacts. I have a Gmail account I rarely used and decided to start using it more, I didn't have any contacts set up in Gmail. I synced two way for the first time and the BB says 79 contacts successfully updated. I look at Gmail and only 77 appear, two are missing. Either by coincidence or other, the two that are missing have their e-mails show up in the "Suggested Contacts" area of Gmail. I Click on the suggested contact and there is no information under there except for the e-mail address.
