Default Blackberry Weather .91.2

New version of BBWeather + GPS!

So, heres the link to the forum from where I found the new version:
BBWeather Experimental with GPS - BlackBerryForums.com : Your Number One BlackBerry Community

Here's the OTA:
http://www.tateu.net/software/dl.php?f=BBWeatherEx

To use GPS:
1) Add a new location -- Options - Current Profiles - Add
2) Set Location ID: @gps
3) Set the other fields to whatever you want
4) Press "OK" to save it
5) Under Options, look for the first "GPS Type"
6) The default type is "Autonomous + Assisted" but not all phones support that type. The Bold does. If you have the Tour, for "GPS Type" use "Autonomous".
7) That's it, save the Options and go back to the current conditions screen.

------ NOW WORKS IN CANADA! Use your City and Province
------ SET LOCATION ID:

ASP.NET Resources - Determine location ID for the weather server control
------ Much thanks to maddmaxx308

Here are some snap shots:

And will look like this at main screen, notice the GPS after location to show its set correctly:

Hmm. It was like this for me for a while too where it would keep giving me 'invalid location' and some weird @gpsnull thing, then suddenly started working after messing around with it. Heres what my options are set at:

Set Location ID: @gps
Description: GPS
ConnectionType: Auto
Weather Server: weather.com
GPS Type: Autonomous
GPS Server: Geoplugin.com

Thanks for the OTA link. Also I love the profile pic and signature Go Cubs!

Thanks! Saw this download earlier and had no idea on how to use (set up) GPS. Confirmed settings work as above for Verizon Tour

Quick update: interestingly I get a different icon for GPS, then the one set up for my home zip. The GPS says the same zip as the one I have set up. I have autonomous, and geoplugin.com....

I got this working on my Storm using

ConnectionType: Auto
Weather Server: WeatherUnderground
GPS Type: Autonomous
GPS Server: Geonames.org

Make sure you actually have a gps signal or you'll get the null errors.

Also, if you use WeatherUnderground (I have an account there) make sure you use Geonames.org as Wunderground apparently has issues with the data Geoplugin.com provides.
