Default What Does This Icon Mean?

Over and over again I see posts about icons on the home screen and what they mean. Here is a quick list that will hopefully clear some things up. Keep in mind these can change based on the theme you are using. Taken from the BlackBerry User Guide

There is one other little icon that isn't listed here, at least on my screen. It looks like a gunsite with a little arm.

I know. Makes no sense but hard to describe. What is it? It is there in all themes and on both the Home and APPs screens.

I think it means; Phone service is ON.

The one that looks like a sight on a scope? A circle with a plus sign? That is the GPS indicator...if it's on it means the GPS is set for "location on" as opposed to 911 only.

Now I feel stupid. Of course that is the GPS indicator. I knew that from my plain old LG phone. This Blackberry is better than sliced bread and I must have lost my senses. Thank you robind21283

No problem. Fortunately, my hubby's a gun nut, and I knew exactly what you meant. I don't particularly care for the rifle though...I'm more of a 12 gauge kinda girl. Its much harder to miss ;-)

Try 'Show All' from the main blackberry screen. It may be that you have your message separate (text and e-mail) and have hidden your Main Message Icon which has a missed call for instance...?

Or a hidden Blackberry Messenger Icon with a new message?

Ok one more question is there any way to keep all of the google apps in one folder on your screen instead of all separated?

I talked to a RIM csr and he told me that he uses the Icon themes and puts his in folders and hides them so that his home screen is Icon-free. To navigate his bb, he uses the switch application function and has memorized all of the shortcuts. I thought that this was kinda cool, and wanted to share with all of ya'll. Check ya later.
