Default How to sync Facebook Events with your Blackberry Calendar

Hey everyone, I wanted to sync my Facebook events to my Blackberry calendar. I figured other people might want to do so as well.

Step 1: You need a google account.
Step 2: Sign into Google Calendar.
Step 3: Sign into Facebook in another tab.
Step 4: Click on the events button.
Step 5: Click the export button at the top of the page.
Step 6: Copy the URL
Step 7: Switch back to the google calendar. Click on the add button below “Other Calendars,” select Add by URL
Step 8: Paste the URL into the Public Calender Address field. Name the calendar something like “Facebook Events” under calendar settings.
Step 9: Install Google Sync to your Blackberry.
Step 10: Under the Google Sync options, select “Sync these Calanders” and add “Facebook Events”
Step 11: Select Sync Now

The only issues I've found thus far are the fact that it syncs all events, not just the ones you're attending, and there is sometimes a delay between getting a new facebook event it syncing to your google calendar.

thank you so much for that.. I have a few questions...

Lets say if an event gets added on Wed, will it automatically add it to my Blackberry? Or will I need to repeat the steps?

And if I do need to repeat the steps, will it remove the events or just over right them or what?

Thanks again for that tip!

From what I've seen, adding events automatically updates onto the blackberry.

Yeah, I was pretty amazed at just how simple it was to get this working. I'm hoping the 1.5 version of the facebook app is useful enough to make this guide obsolete, but we won't know until it's released.
