My 7520 will not charge the battery.

I am looking for some help. I have a 7520 and will work as long as it is plugged in; however it will not charge the battery. The lightening bolt shows up next to the drained battery, but it will not charge. Can someone help me with possible fix?

i can help you..i just had my 7520 for a day i noticed when i plugged it up to my laptop the charge bolt would show for 2 seconds then poof. even tried the wall socket samething..googled the problem..download the blackberry desktop manager. it has something to do with that i read. something about the desktop manager determines your battery charge,or something like that..it works though my phone is charging fully as we speak.
