Default T-Mobile getting HTC HD2

Just read on Engadget that T-Mobile is getting the HTC HD2 and releasing it next week. This changes the game for the devices dropping this week. Big win for T-Mobile.

Wow, T-Mobile getting such a great phone?! How did they score that? They don't have the greatest coverage, so how do they get really good phones? I thought Verizon or even AT&T would get this first.

That would have been my guess, but T-mobile has been releasing somebgreat phones lately and before everyone else.

UK is kind of a no-brainer. US is the only question really.

Haha, The news that the HD2 is going to drop in the U.K. is old, There is not a Confirmed date of a U.S. release. I will share if i stumble across it. Crossing fingers for Verizon to get it...

I can't wait for this phone. I will drop the bb like a hot potato when it gets here. I'm so sick of RIM repackaging the blackberry but not really upgrading it.

i can see what you mean. the 8900, 850, 9630 & 9700 all pretty much look the same. they just use track pads or track balls. wifi or 3g. all and all they're all pretty much the same to me. i don't see a huge difference.
i think they need to get the ball rolling on the magnum.

They look the same, but they target different markets...

The 85xx has it's own purpose (which actually makes some sense) even though most of the people here won't see the value in it.

Had the HTC Imagio for a good month now and I am loving it! HD2 or something similar will be my next smartphone. If it comes with Winmo 7 i will be even happier!

Great phone but in bad network. They can even keep the current network working properly first with the sidekick data and now with a nationwide outage. Poor HD2

Sidekick thing was Danger's fault, not theirs.

Not their fault in terms of what actually happened, but their fault for being the carrier (since you know most people don't even know or care who was actually at fault or what actually even happened to the data). In other words, their fault for compensation measures to keep people happy. People generally only care/want to blame the person they are paying the money to.
