I haven't been able to get it to work on my 8310 with AT&T, and I did at least figure out how to check that video full screen setting by playing the only video I have stored on the microSD. My "about" screen says v4.2.2.170 (Platform 2.5.0.30); I assume that means I have OS 4.2? Anyone have any tips for crackberry nube?

hooray!! I'm in! I successfully upgraded my BB from 4.2.2.170 to 4.5.0.110 and went to M.moodio.fm (the M. made all the difference, I think). Now I can listen to Santa Monica radio while driving in Boston!

no app needed, but would there be a way to create an app icon for it? right now I've just got it bookmarked in the browser, but it would be coll to just click an icon, a la Facebook.

commercials? I've only had it working for a few minutes, and since I'm home, I'm listening to my (largely commercial free) favorite internet radio station on my PC. moodio adds commercials?

I have to agree, I just downloaded Slacker, FlyCast, and Radio Companion however this is the only streaming music that has all of my favorite channels!

seems like most of the folks with the answers on this thread have moved on, but I just noticed that it won't play in the holster! what's up with that? as soon as I put it in, before I even close the flap, it shuts down.

Default does moodio use cell minutes?

I am unable to actually hear the station - I get the dial tone - get a recording that I am listening to the station, and then get a signal like I get on a regular phone if the call does not go through. But the ringing dial tone concerns me - am I using minutes on my voice plan (data is unlimited but voice certainly is not)??

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

its just sounds they play. for example, if a station im trying to connect to is down, i think i get a similar dial tone to if the phone number is off the hook.

the sounds dont have anything to do with voice calls, its just coincidence they decided to use those sounds, they could have probably changed it to whatever they want.

also, for reggae stations, i use bashment radio, and i added mediazoneja but its not always up.

but i actually usually only listen to hot 97 loves carnival (thats the hot97 in st vincent) always playing popular soca/dancehall/reggae/hiphop

i dont use any other stations usually.

You just go to Moodio... streaming radio on your mobile phone! and create a profile and add stations to your profile then login on your phone to m.moodio.fm and pick one of the stations you added to your profile. Simple and free.
Having been using it for years and through several BlackBerrys. Works very well.

Four blocks from Ocean Boulevard here. Where the weather is fantastic and sunsets are always breathtaking. Santa Monica misses you.
