I'm trying to use Moodio on my Curve 8330/Sprint. What should I choose for the Bitrate/Channel setting?

I tried it on my 8300 (OS 4.5.0.52, EDGE) and I get the same thing that I get when trying to get YouTube; I get all the way to the Media Player Screen, but once on the screen, absolutely nothing happens. Should I reload 4.5 again? I hate to do that, if I really don't need to.

Try Berrytunes. Tons of stations and now podcasts. The streaming is also flawless.

hi, im dee_shock from nyc. listen i just purchase the bb 8320 curve n i upgraded my os4.2 to os4.5. if your interested for instructions please e-mail me @ (lil_smooth@msn.com). I would then e-mail you the link for the os4.5 download.
It's extremely simple you'll be surprise.

NOTE: crackberry.com give info about the os4.5 upgrade but it's extremely complex.

Yup, confirmed...4.3 os still works fine
I'm using a 4.3 verizon curve too. What settings are you using? I tried to stream in 24k para-stereo, 24k stereo, and 44k mono to no avail. Any info you have would be great.

I really want to get a couple boston stations out here in michigan

Nevermind! I got it to work!

I found this tip over on the moodio site:
"Well after messing around with this for a few days... I finally got my Blackberry curve to play!!! you wouldn't believe the fix... if you go into your media player and turn off the "Full Screen" mode and restart your stations it plays... before it would load and just sit there... as soon as I turn off the full screen mode it'll play... I've tested this several times by enabling full screen and disabling it... and everytime it is enable... it's a no go... this is possibly why many people suddendly are unable to use this service....

well I hope this helps out some or all of you with the same problem that I had... just thought I'd pass it along... if it matters I'm running on Verizon and I have the 4.3.0.127 (i believe)...

"

I also checked the setting to allow embedded media in my browser settings. Seems to work now. Not sure which fix fixed it. But yay!

-Just turned off "Support Embedded Media" and moodio still works. I can't believe that "Full-Screen" video mode caused it to not work....weird.

Get it's url and see if moodio can stream it.

I just set it up and it's working well on my 8320. I need to get better at finding stations to add to my profile. Although the sky indie is pretty good. I'm on my home wifi, how well does it work on edge?

The only time I can think I'll use it is at work when I'm at my computer looking at CB . I might need it at home when my wife isn't in the mood to listen to the home system, (wives and husband's music, age old battle, haha).

Ok, just got a call. Switched to phone then back to Moodio just fine. How does berrytunes work? I just downloaded it's app and icon, I can only see an option to play from my media card. How maybe a thread about how to stream with it. Then we can vote

I was able to figure berrytunes out, duh, use the menu It also is easy to use the browser while streaming with berrytunes. I haven't tried that with moodio. anyone else know how easy it is to stream and browse with Moodio?

I must be a thread killer today, I took a shower and everything, haha.

Anyway, I can't get Moodio to play while I browse. That's a deal breaker. Looks like berrytunes gets the nod. The only draw back is that it is an app that uses some memory - but what heck, we all have apps we like. As an app, it comes with an icon and it makes it easy to play lists on your media card.
Berrytunes - two thumbs up
Moodio - one point five thumbs up

My 0.02 cents

*sigh*....didn't work for me after removing the media player option of fullscreen. I think I've exhausted all options.
