Using Multiple Email Identities/Personalities/Aliases with BB E-mail

BlackBerry has the "Send Using" feature, but it only works with forwards. A businessman like myself has multiple accounts that I use for different purposes. I have about 20 or more accounts I use in Gmail and it all comes to one inbox. I can choose to send from any one of those email addresses (all don't retrieve email; all emails are fowarded to this one inbox). Understand?

I've done some research and it seems that this is a feature quite a few want on BlackBerry e-mail. For example: Blackberry Email Personalities at Tech Generation

I found some others too.

As of right now there is only a workaround to the "problem," but does anyone here who works for RIM know when or if this type of functionality will be implemented? Not setting up multiple e-mail inboxes/accounts, but just multiple aliases in which to send from ("Send Using").

And why offer the "send using" dropdown at all for reply's if you can't change it anyway? Or is it b/c it's soon to come?
