Just bought a used unlocked 7280, now what?

Ok so I popped in my SIM card, and got it working to make calls and send text messages. I imported all my phonebook contacts. What the heck do I do with this thing now? Any tips? Should I bother installing the software on my laptop? What are the benefits? I want the least amount of hassle possible.

I am on a caribbean island, so will I still be able to do things like get email (my gmail account) or surf the web? Any cool themes or games or apps to put on this thing? I know its super old, and the battery dies before the end of the day but its way better than having my old bar phone without a qwerty keypad.

I`ll bump this as I`ve just got a 7290 and need to know how to get a browser.

Just call your carrier, get a BB data plan and tell them to send you the Service Books...
