It then says, "Connecting to email settings..." but never connects, then after a few minutes of it trying to connect it says, ""Your device had a problem connecting to the server." Then the only choices are either "Retry" or "Cancel". Still have very strong 3G and "UMA" services. Getting tweets and internet browser seem to work fine. Seems only to affect email. Typically get about 10 emails overnight but this morning had none so I was suspicious of their being a service outage. Will check again later.
I did this, as in trying the email settings. My 9630 tries its hardest to access them but has no luck. Verizon Wireless, Phoenix, Arizona, roughly 9am. Bbm and browser work just fine

If it was scheduled, maybe they should have put it out there

Same deal with Verizon in Iowa. Woke up to no e-mails, thought it was a bit odd. Checked Crackberry feed and saw this bit of news.

AT&T in NYC seems to have been done since 12;30 am Eastern time. Can't find anything on AT&T or Blackberry web sites and nothing via google search. Don't companies usually announce extended service outages for mainainance/upgrades?
