Free Today Preview w/ Weather Slot, Transitions & Hidden Dock-Drew05d

I've tried Hidden Docks and hated how they functioned so I never put one out.
This one performs like NONE that I've used.

Get it while it lasts, I'll probably take this to Premium.

*This was made for a 85XX running OS 5.0.0.459.
*It doesn't function properly on a lower OS.

Hidden Dock Details:
- On the Application Screen, the Weather Slot is no. 1. The Dock slots are no. 2 thru 7.
- Weather Slot has its own text that stays on screen (I've never seen this any place else).
- Pulling down on the first 5 icons on the dock closes it and hides the Today Preview area (I've never seen this any place else).
- Pulling down on the sixth icon takes you to Profiles.

I've made another version of the theme called 85XX-drew05dnf (no flick). This one doesn't hide the dock automaticly after activating an icon on it. You close it manually by pulling down as explained above. No more "do I move left or right to get the dock to rise or down and up. Please try both version and POST which one you like better.

Oh my god, this is exactly the theme I've been looking for. Could you please please make it for OS 4.6? I'd really appreciate it!

In the "BlackBerry Curve 8520/8530" forum is a 5.0 OS for the 8520. It's not a sticky for some reason and I don't mean the one for the 8530. You'll have to search the forum for it. Most of what makes this theme what it is, is because of 5.0. Bringing it down to 4.6 would make it a different theme. Sorry.

I know I can upgrade my OS, but I just didn't find in necessary so far. Anyway, thanks for your reply.

Move your weather icon to the very 1st icon on the Application screen. This is were your email icon is now. Extactly like in my screen shot above.

Unless of course, you don't have a weather application installed already. I'm using Weatherbug, it's free.

Very nice theme, however, I feel that it would be better if the bottom apps bar on the homescreen was static (kept on screen). When I scroll around the bar jumps up and down and scrolling past the calender icon makes the scrolling glitch, and sometimes the today calender notes stay on the screen when im on the next icon from the calender one. With all that aside it is a great theme.

On the 4th pic is see 4 of the same icon what are these icons for? Having multiple of the same icon is really annoying to me

You are correct. I also like the static version better. I made this Hidden Dock for everyone who's posted in my other themes requesting one. The Hidden Dock is cool to watch but it seems like wasted time to me. Once I'm done tweaking this version, I'll post the static one.

The things that you mentioned are definitely evident when the theme first starts but do smooth out a bit after a couple of run-throughs. Since its original posting, I've been able to tweak the motion and graphics a bit to bring the issues under as much control as I think is possible. I'll be posting the revision tonight.

1 "default mail" icon for each email account the phone is connected to: there's actually 5: (1) work, (2) yahoos, (1) hotmail & (1) blackberry. For you, I would suggest not having anymore then one email account on your phone. It'll drive you nuts.

I like it!

Would love it more with a non-hidden today, keep the animated
dock and no weather slot.

BerryWeather is able to put weather information on the background.
So the weather slot is sort of not needed if one uses that BerryWeather
option.

Seems they are getting better and better everyday!
