Is this true about leaked BBM 5.0 - QR code hack?

I have read about this QR code hack for leaked BBM 5.0 on this page. Does it work that way.. It looks very good though..Can some one update it pls. I am not able to install BBM 5.0 on my dying Pearl.. and can not see it live..I think its time for me to upgrade my BlackBerry..

it does indeed work that way, thats why a lot of peoples avatar's have changed, as my own has

when you click add contact it gives you the options of "add another contact by entering their Email address or Pin" "scan invitation barcode from another blackberry" "show your invitation barcode to another blackberry" "save your invitation barcode image"

scan and show invitation barcode are the options youre talking about and when you select scan it uses the camera to view another persons invitation barcode and adds them based upon this

Thanks gnh5002# I have got the idea about entering PIN. But its interesting to see you can use it to download apps/call phone numbers with such code...Getting 8900 now..First thing to do is to get BBM5.0..
