Default BB Maps launcher for AT&T

Hi,

I have a Bold and 8900 on AT&T and BB Maps is hidden on both.
Both are running a 5.0 beta.
So I finally made a little program that only launches BB Maps....
Anyone else miss BB Maps?
Here is the OTA if you want to try it. Let me know if it works for you and if so I'll put it in the app store as well.

Cheers,
Todd

Are you guys getting blackberry menu options that pulls from blackberry maps with this program?

E.g. "View on map" in photos that are geotagged? Because I am not. haha. Thats the only feature that I really want thats missing with this app.

Hey BekNazar, thanks for this. I recently upgraded my AT&T Curve 8900 to OS 5.0.0.348 and noticed BB Maps was gone I initially went to the BB mobile site to try and re-download it (because I was able to use it on OS 4.6.1.315) and it said something like "your device doesn't meet the requirements for BB Maps". I was very disappointed, honestly. Not disappointed enough to downgrade my OS but still...I liked BB Maps!

So anyways, good lookin out on the BB Maps "Launcher"!! I greatly appreciate it!!!

Another thing that would work is if you have QuickLanch you can add bbmaps to the ql menu and it will launch from there too. But kudos to you bek for finally getting an icon launcher out there

Great stuff!

Any chance you can alter it to say "Blackberry Maps" rather than "BB Maps Launcher." It would make it a little more authentic.
