So, nobody else noticed what the BIG SURPRISE is?
Come on people, please. Is right in your face.
The BIG SECRET is the new and tremendously improved technology for the screen.
Look at the last video that was posted on the main page. Please notice it, PLEASE.
It goes way beyond than a multi-touch feature. A lot of people answered the question correctly here, on this forum:
What do you think makes the screen go "dead"? The screen is made out of a material that gets hard as a rock when there is no energy flowing through it.
The single awful clicking button the first Storm had is a thing of the past. This one clicks EVERYWHERE like a button. Also, you won't get dust on your screen either.
Does this make sense?
How do I know it? I just do.
So, if everyone hated the 1st storm because of HW reasons they have absolutely nothing to complain about this time.
1) The new screen makes a huge difference, and it works the way people dream their Storm 1 would work.
2) There are no corners without clicking anymore
3) No dust
4) You have Wifi
5) Its a great looking phone
And, if you are worried about the SF think about this:
All the Storms running on OS v.151 are fast, right? And some people even call it "The OS the phone should've been released with". RIM still has a couple more months to make a way better OS that would be the equivalent of the .151 for the Storm II - Odin.
How is it possible that this phone is going to suck and its not a big improvement from the first version?
Peace
