Newest 9550 OS 5.0.0.320- Verizon

I kinda new to this...but how can I check what software version I have? And what version do i need to DL in order for the S2 to keep running smoothly...my prior device was the 8300...so any help would be greatly appreciated...THANKS!!

go to options , then about , and it will say it at the top = 5.0.0.xxx

EDIT: The reason I put in a trouble ticket as opposed to just calling and asking them to pass it along (right) is the the 9550 product documentation on RIM's website has a page on the Main Messages List option. Sooo, I sort of thought I'd take the old "if RIM's advertising it maybe you guys should be offering it" approach. In any event I'm sure there will be a hybrid in the next few days that fixes this and other little stuff.

The missing Main Messages List option is the ONE thing that really irritates me about the Storm 2. LOVED it on the Storm, upgrade to S2 and then it is no more... (BES Mailbox works as a good interim solution).

Don't understand why so many Storm apps available on App World are not available there for Storm 2.

Lastly, has anyone found a way to download and install the CBS SportsLine NFL Fantasy Football App that they say is available for the Storm? Browser must be telling the site that I have Storm 2 and CBS says not supported.

I discovered that the browser contained in the new software has a flaw. One of the websites I need to access won't allow me to drill down into it. A user name and password is needed to get into a certain part of the site. Unlike with the 4.75 software, the 5.0 rejects my personal info and merely brings me back to the page with the personal info windows. I had to revert back to 4.75, even with its flaws.

So what OS is shipped with Storm 2? Or should I expect to see 320 when mine arrives tomorrow.

I don't know what to expect but I am getting my Storm 2 delivered tomorrow and I will be messing with it all day.

Some of the themes I currently have that work on my Storm, does anyone know if they would be compatible on my Storm 2?

No, that was a desktop manager update... not a phone OS update.

Yea i see that update alot the 5.0.1 for the desktop i believe its a bug cuz i already updated it and it still asks me to. I just ignore it for now.
