Can I check from my Storm 2 to see if I have the most updated software? If so how? (I don't use desktop manager) Corporate Email.

so guys, do you think RIM will push out a improved OS for the S2? I mean they still need to keep coming with updates for S1 owners too, so will they even have the time to make OS's for both. it would be nice, but can it be done?

I noticed that .320 has the old voice dialing which is a big plus for Storm 2. I am hoping that .320 is better all the way around than .328 on storm 1; I know a lot of you love .328, but it just didn't give me what I needed, so I decided to try Storm 2 after I noticed the different software.

The major difference from the .320/.328 is that .320 has wifi whereas the .328 doesn't. I'm a little baffeled to backing up my old device and loading my new S2. I hope this helps you all out in identifying the difference of the two.

Oh man..My Storm 2 is coming in on Monday and that was probably the best thing I liked about the OS upgrade the S1 did...the mail separation. Bummer!

When I connect my 9550 to DM it tries to download a newer OS. For fear of not being able to get .320 back I haven't done anything. I updated my 9530 before i got the 9550, does that have anything to do with it??

Odds are its not a 9550 OS update , its proably for like bb maps, , what OS do you have installed on your storm 2 ? anything less then 320 obveously you have a older os and should update !

FWIW (which is probably not much) I put in a trouble ticket with VZW on this tonight. If you want the option back I'd recommend you do the same... power in numbers!

EDIT: The reason I put in a trouble ticket as opposed to just calling and asking them to pass it along (right) is the the 9550 product documentation on RIM's website has a page on the Main Messages List option. Sooo, I sort of thought I'd take the old "if RIM's advertising it maybe you guys should be offering it" approach. In any event I'm sure there will be a hybrid in the next few days that fixes this and other little stuff.
