Blackberry 9550 hidden in Best Buy's system

So I am bored so I gave my associate a quick call to see if the Storm 2 was in the system. They informed me it was not but then caught a phone that we never heard of. The LG Glance, now when you click on the phone in the description of this "LG Glance" it reads Blackberry 9550. It states it has a release date of Oct. 25 but that release date does not mean it is set in stone.

This is the second time Best Buy has hidden a phone. Weeks before the iPhone 3GS was released or even mention to the public the 3GS was coded as project phone 1, 2, 3 and so on. I am at home can not take screen shots but if someone else can to show proof that would be great.

Of course I have the next 2 days off! If I wasn't feeling crappy today I would head up there and check the system. I might have to bbm some friends in a couple of mins. Lol

a 10/25 release date is certainly possible as the 10/14 date we have already heard about seems sure to slip.

Guess we'll all see soon enough.

Pix WOULD be nice if you can get them leaked.

It seems the LG Glance is a real phone. Not sure about the 9550 verbiage once they opened up the Glance.

trying now lol, I am messaging other associates from other stores to look into it and send me pics. I am excited, would have been better if I saw this information for myself. Best Buy seems to be doing what they can to stop their info from showing up online. When their inventory list of 3GS's got leaked because they made it public to all employees, they then made the 2nd shipment list private to only managers.

From what I head read on some forums the date of Oct. 14 has already slipped in reagards to either VZW or Vodaphone to the 19th which makes the 25 about a week after that which is when Big Red is speculated to follow the UK launch.

Yeah but the Glance is already out, it has been for a while I believe. So that wouldn't have an Oct. release date listed.
