Yes, I'm also reluctant to upgrade the OS to any 4.6.1.xxx now as (I believed) official OS 5 should be released soon. I hate upgrading the OS as my heart is thumping too much while doing so.

Can anyone enlighten me on how to delete the vendor file on a mac? Or will it matter or not that I bought my 8520 sim free?
