there was a speculation on the "Storm2" having a slide out keyboard

So do we know for 100% that this doesnt have surepress, the pics sure do look like the storm screen, especially with the gap around it.

Yes. Go and read the reviews of the prelim units that Kevin and BG have done. No mention of a touchscreen. Period. End.

Go check out the video on BGR. You can see it does not have a touchscreen.

It has the styling of the Storm/8900. But it has no touchscreen. But that doesn't mean a new touchscreen with a full QWERTY device isn't coming out.
